RF CHOKE 3-50 MHZ SO239 5KW

Our RF Choke “RFC-TC-5KW” is a very efficient broadband CMC choke that provides a perfect balance of currents and a good transition between a balanced resonant device (with low SWR) such as dipoles, yagi antennas and an unbalanced coaxial line such as our coaxial cables.

The RF Choke is very effective in preventing the “common mode current”  (CMC) from flowing outside our coaxial transmission lines causing numerous problems such as:
– an increase in the noise level in our RX.
– incorrect reading of our SWR meter
– interference on electronic devices present in our shack or near our radiant system.

How to use it.
The RF Choke, thanks to its wide bandwidth, can be used on yagi antennas with 50 Ohm feed or on resonant dipoles.

Obviously it is a valid replacement for a damaged RF Choke/balun 1:1.
On request we can provide fixing staff on round or square pole for fixing to the boom or mast (excellent for the self-construction of a half-wave dipole).
