RF CHOKE LINE ISOLATOR 3-50 MHZ 2KW PEP

Our RF Choke Line isolator “RFC-LI-2KW-DC” is a very efficient broadband CMC choke that provides a perfect balance of currents and a good transition between a balanced resonant device (with low SWR) such as dipoles, yagi antennas and an unbalanced coaxial line such as our coaxial cables.

The RF Choke is very effective in preventing the “common mode current”  (CMC) from flowing outside our coaxial transmission lines causing numerous problems such as:
– an increase in the noise level in our RX.
– incorrect reading of our SWR meter
– interference on electronic devices present in our shack or near our radiant system.

How to use it
The RF Choke can be inserted along the 50 ohm coaxial feed lines, in various positions:
at the end of the antenna, (using a pigtail that can handle high power)
at the base of the tower or near the shack as a valid device, in addition to the RF Choke installed at the antenna output, to reduce the currents that pass through the shield of the coaxial cable generating unwanted noise on our receiver.
It also finds valid use as a Feedline Choke along the coaxial line that feeds EndFed type antennas
