Our RF Choke “RFC-DU-5KW” provides a perfect balance of currents and a good transition between a balanced resonant device (with low SWR) such as dipoles, yagi antennas and an unbalanced coaxial line such as our coaxial cables.

The RF Choke is very effective in preventing the “common mode current” (CMC) from flowing outside our coaxial transmission lines causing numerous problems such as:
– an increase in the noise level in our RX.
– incorrect reading of our SWR meter
– interference on electronic devices present in our shack or near our radiant system.

PLEASE NOTE: This RF Choke is designed to handle high power up to 10 kW pep. The connector used in this product limits the applicable power to 5 kW pep. For higher powers we can supply the same RF Choke with DIN 7/16 connector (see our website)
